NOVESTA FLUX BEIGE

FLUX was created as a shoe for walking with a strong, flowing motion. Its name expresses the idea of a vehicle-like shoe that carries the body on a flow of energy and helps propel it forward.

The design draws inspiration from vehicles depicted in science fiction from the Czechoslovak era and from the retro-futurist Brutalist architecture known in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Multiple panels are positioned to protect the foot while walking and support the shoe’s structure. The lightweight yet voluminous sole is approximately 4.5 cm thick, firm and highly abrasion-resistant, with a shape that encourages the body to move forward. The beige and grey combination uses nuanced colors associated with Central Europe.
