This is the official NOVESTA online store size guide. It explains how models including MARATHON, MARATHON RUNNER, STAR MASTER, ITOH, ITOH ATHLETIC, FLUX, and GERMAN TRAINER fit and feel, with tips for choosing a size based on the sneakers you normally wear.

When comparing NOVESTA with sneakers you already own, check the EU (FR) size printed behind the tongue, inside the shoe, or on the box—not only the CM size. CM conversions differ between brands and models, so comparing EU (FR) sizes gives a more reliable reference. For example, a pair you think of as “26 CM” may actually be EU 43 or EU 44. Please treat the CM measurements on this page as a guide.

How NOVESTA Shoes Fit

NOVESTA shoes use European sizing. Fit varies slightly by model, so we recommend considering your foot width, instep height, sock thickness, and preferred way of wearing your shoes in addition to your usual sneaker size.

The model characteristics and size charts below are intended as a practical guide to choosing the right size.

MARATHON is one of NOVESTA’s more cushioned models and has a slightly sporty feel. It fits securely around the foot, and many customers choose their usual sneaker size.

If you have wide feet or want to wear thick socks, consider choosing a fit with a little extra room.

How MARATHON RUNNER Fits

MARATHON RUNNER retains the sporty character of MARATHON while offering a little more room when you put it on. It feels roomier than MARATHON through the width but slimmer than FLUX.

If MARATHON feels tight but the next size feels too large, MARATHON RUNNER in the same size may feel just right.

ITOH and ITOH ATHLETIC are sporty leather-upper models based on Central European tennis shoes. Their streamlined shape gives them a slightly slim fit.

The size reference is close to STAR MASTER. Because these models use leather, check the initial fit and choose according to your foot width and instep height.

GERMAN TRAINER models often use leather and suede and provide a stable feel that follows the shape of the foot. Their classic training-shoe construction gives them a relatively streamlined fit.

How to Choose When You Are Between Sizes

Do not rely only on the CM marking of your usual sneakers. First check their EU (FR) size, then consider your foot width, instep height, sock thickness, and preferred fit.

Wide feet

We recommend allowing extra room through the width. FLUX is comparatively easy to recommend for wider feet, while MARATHON RUNNER tends to feel slightly roomier than MARATHON.

High instep

Choose a size that does not create uncomfortable pressure over the top of your foot.

Thick socks

We recommend choosing a fit with slightly more room than usual.

Close fit

Use the EU (FR) size of your usual sneakers as a starting point, then check the fit of each model. The EU (FR) size is generally printed behind the tongue, on the inside of the shoe, or on the box.

Relaxed fit

Choosing a size with a little extra room at the toes and through the width can make the shoes more comfortable.
