Handmade shoemaking carried on in Slovakia
NOVESTA grew from the shoemaking heritage of the Bata Industrial Park factory established in Partizánske, Slovakia, in 1939, and the NOVESTA brand was launched in 1992. Using natural rubber and canvas, skilled craftspeople complete around 90 percent of the production process by hand, including traditional vulcanised construction.
