The MARATHON TRAIL pairs the classic MARATHON with a TRAIL SOLE designed to provide reliable grip on rough terrain. Its outsole revives a design long used at NOVESTA’s headquarters factory in Partizánske. The current model is based on a design used for the Czechoslovak national team’s marathon and race-walking training shoes at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. The MARATHON has its roots in a classic model preserved at the NOVESTA factory since the early 1960s.
