The classic MARATHON now features a TRAIL SOLE that provides excellent grip even on rough terrain. This model is a reproduction of the outsole that has long been used at Partizanske's headquarters factory. The MARATHON is based on a classic model that has been in use at the NOVESTA factory since the early 1960s. The current model is based on the model that was used as training shoes for the Czechoslovakian marathon and race walking team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. This model was inspired by the colorful streets of Slovakia and the colors of liqueur.
