Its nostalgic character contrasts with the robust sole, and durable vulcanized construction supports everyday wear. The shoe combines a natural rubber sole with a cotton canvas upper and has a simple, honest appeal. The removable insole can be taken out for washing, while the hook-and-loop fastening makes the shoe easy to put on and take off.
