Walter van Beirendonck
Walter van Beirendonk was born in 1955. Graduated from the fashion department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
In 1986, six students who graduated from the fashion department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp led their own brands and participated in the "Six from Antwerp" exhibition at the London Collection's "British Designers Show." One of ANTWERP SIX. From 1993 to 1999 (2000S/S), the brand "W&L.T.(Wild&Lethal Trash)" was announced in Paris.
After that, in 2001 he launched the brand "Walter van Beirendonck". Currently, she teaches fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Wim Niels, Raf Simons, and Bernhardt Willhelm served as trainees and assistants under him. He has many accomplishments as a leader, including Demna Gvasalia and other students who studied under him.
