MARATHON RUNNER is a Slovak-made model inspired by running shoes produced in Central and Eastern Europe in the 1970s. Lighter than NOVESTA's standard MARATHON, it combines a texture reminiscent of the 1980s with a comfortable fit that is easy to incorporate into everyday life.
Difference between CLASSIC, TRAIL, and SUPER TRAIL
The sole is what really changes the impression of MARATHON RUNNER. CLASSIC has a low, flat and clean shape, TRAIL has a textured outsole for increased grip, and SUPER TRAIL has an even thicker TRAIL sole.

Upper combines nylon and suede
The representative model has a lightweight nylon body layered with cowhide suede parts. The shading of different materials creates a three-dimensional look even with a single color. Depending on the color, we use materials such as bushy leather, metallic materials, and wrinkled nylon, so please check the material description on each product page.
The lining is made of synthetic leather that does not get stuffy. The structure with nylon from the toe to the sides gives it the lightness typical of MARATHON RUNNER.

SUPER TRAIL's rubber sole is thicker than regular TRAIL and has deeper unevenness. The unevenness of the ground surface supports grip when walking, and the thickness of the sole increases cushioning.
