NOVESTA presents NOVESTA MARATHON HIGH bp, the first collaboration with beautiful people.
The design is based on MARATHON HIGH, inspired by a training shoe developed for the Czechoslovak national team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Its running-shoe-derived upper has been retained while the form and color palette have been reworked for a contemporary silhouette.
MARATHON HIGH with an ultra-thin sole
For this collaboration, the characteristically substantial sole of MARATHON HIGH has been made as thin as possible. An ultra-thin sole and clean silhouette meet the functional beauty of a running shoe, giving MARATHON HIGH a new expression.
The upper combines nylon, cow leather, and cow suede. Each pair is handmade using NOVESTA's shoemaking expertise, and the tongue carries a collaborative NOVESTA and beautiful people label.
A slim exterior with comfort inside
While the outsole appears slim from the outside, the insole has added depth at the heel. This construction keeps the profile light while providing cushioning and a subtle lift, bringing visual lightness and a soft underfoot feel together in one shoe.
